Niagara Falls has no shortage of spectacle, but Saturday night at the Bear’s Den Showroom is a different kind of electricity. Coco Montoya — one of the most electrifying live blues performers working today — closes out a two-night run at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino on June 13, 2026. If you missed Night 1 on Friday, this is your second chance, and second chances at a Coco Montoya show are not something to let slide.
About Coco Montoya
Henry “Coco” Montoya grew up in Santa Monica and first picked up drums as a kid, but it was a 1969 encounter with the great Albert King that redirected him toward guitar — playing left-handed, strings flipped upside down, a technique that has become his signature. In the mid-1970s he landed in Albert Collins’ band, eventually becoming Collins’ second guitarist under direct mentorship. Collins’ philosophy — “Don’t think about it, just feel it” — is still audible in every bar Montoya plays.
From there he spent a decade with John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers, stepping into the chair previously occupied by Eric Clapton and Mick Taylor. Seven albums and years of global touring later, he launched his solo career with Gotta Mind To Travel (1995), which earned the Blues Music Award for Best New Artist.
His latest, Writing On The Wall (2023) on Alligator Records, was produced by Grammy Award-winner Tony Braunagel and captures what AllMusic called “one of the most prodigious and gifted electric bluesmen on the planet…a deeply soulful singer.” Nine studio albums in, the fire hasn’t dimmed.
The Venue
The Bear’s Den Showroom at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino is a casino resort showroom in the heart of Niagara Falls — part of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s entertainment lineup and a regular stop for touring blues, rock, and country acts. If you’re making the trip from across Western New York, budget time for the Falls before the show. Parking at the casino is attached to the resort and easy to navigate.
Tickets & Pricing
Tickets are $45 and $55. Showtime is 8:00 PM on Saturday, June 13. Night 2 of any two-night run tends to hit differently — don’t sleep on it.
