Darcy & Jer proved the internet-to-theater pipeline works when their No Refunds tour moved through 50-plus North American cities and sold more than 50,000 tickets. The Average at Best Tour is the follow-up, and March 1 brings it to Kingston Grand Theatre.
About the Show
Darcy Michael and Jeremy Baer are a married LGBTQ+ couple who have been together for over 20 years and built a following of more than 7 million across social platforms through comedy about their neurodiverse relationship, mental health, and daily life. Darcy has ADHD, and the duo has made celebrating neurodivergence and creating an inclusive space central to what they do. The live show covers “their neurodiverse marriage, adventures in middle age, family chaos, and the general indignities of trying to keep a relationship alive” — described by the venue as “relatable, ridiculous and occasionally raunchy.” The Kingston Grand event page adds, deadpan: “The show starts whenever they find parking.”
Their live debut at Just for Laughs Vancouver in 2023 drew a sold-out crowd of 1,200, launching a No Refunds tour that expanded to 50-plus cities including Broadway dates. The stand-up special and the Happily Ever Laughter documentary, both out on Crave in November 2024, and the No Refunds Album, which hit No. 1 on North American comedy charts, all kept the audience growing. Darcy’s 2026 memoir, Attention Seeker: A Neurodivergent Comedian’s Guide to Thriving with ADHD, became an Amazon bestseller and spent eight weeks on the Globe and Mail list. TikTok named the pair a “Visionary Voice” in 2024 for content that, in the platform’s words, will “crack you up and warm your heart.” The Average at Best Tour is the next chapter.
Venue & Logistics
Kingston Grand Theatre’s Rosen Auditorium is a seated theater, the kind of room where stand-up timing lands the way it was intended, with an audience close enough to actually hear the pauses. Show time is 8:00 p.m. The Kingston stop falls between the duo’s Sudbury date (February 27) and Guelph (March 2), part of an Ontario run before the tour continues into the United States.
