There is a version of this argument worth making: a band that has spent 32 years and logged more than 1,500 performances building a faithful recreation has earned the right to be taken on its own terms. Destroyer Canada, the Windsor-based KISS tribute that founding member Moe Rotondi assembled in 1993, brings their KISS FIXX 2026 Tour to the Brockville Arts Centre on Saturday, September 12.
About the Show
Rotondi discovered KISS at age 9 and built Destroyer Canada from local performances into a band that has played the Calgary Stampede and the Canadian National Exhibition, with fly-in dates stretching as far as Alberta, Saskatchewan, and the Atlantic provinces over three decades of continuous touring. In 2015, he was inducted into the Windsor Music Hall of Fame — an acknowledgment that separates a tribute act with genuine regional standing from one that has simply been around long enough to earn one.
The four-piece reconstructs the original KISS lineup in full: Rotondi as Demon Gene Simmons, Mike Moodrey (a guitarist known for note-for-note solos and a 12-year member of the band) as Spaceman Ace Frehley, and Ian Kurz as Starchild Paul Stanley. Between them, the members bring more than a century of combined musical experience. The set covers the full catalog range, from raging anthems like “I Was Made For Lovin’ You” to the quieter end, including “Beth,” with the costumes, makeup, and pyrotechnic-style effects that made the original band’s live performance its defining product.
The September 12 Brockville date arrives one night after a Kingston show at The Spire — two stops on a year the band promotes under dual labels: the KISS FIXX 2026 Tour and their 32nd Anniversary Tour. The full 2026 run includes 25 or more confirmed Ontario dates spanning theater stages, outdoor festivals, and legion halls, running from January through November.
Venue & Logistics
The Brockville Arts Centre, a 700-seat theater in the north-country on King Street West, is the kind of stage this production is built for. Destroyer Canada works the full circuit (outdoor festivals, multi-act bills, private events) but the theater format gives the makeup and stagecraft the frame they need. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. EDT; the show runs 7:30 to 10:00 p.m., roughly two and a half hours.
Tickets
Tickets are $58.64 CAD via Showpass. The show is co-presented by Legends Revisited and Brockville Arts Centre. All sales are final; no refunds or exchanges. Get Tickets
