Doja Cat at Centre Bell | November 27, 2026

By Eli Thorne · July 20, 2026

Doja Cat wrote every song on Vie herself, handed the production chair to Jack Antonoff, and came out with an ’80s synth-pop record that deliberately softens the confrontational stance of Scarlet without losing the ambition. Tour Ma Vie World Tour reaches Centre Bell in Montreal on Friday, November 27.

About the Show

Born Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini and raised in Los Angeles, Doja Cat built from SoundCloud uploads at 16 through the late 2010s before Hot Pink (2019) and Planet Her (2021) made her globally ubiquitous. Vie, released September 26, 2025, is her fifth studio album and the one where she called her own shot most clearly: she sole-wrote every track — one reviewer described her as the first female rapper of her generation to do so on a full record — and told CBS Sunday Morning she is “a rapper that makes pop music.” Antonoff’s production fills the record with synths, neon-lit drum machines, horns, and saxophones, leaning into an ’80s gloss that sets it apart from the harder palette of Scarlet. The only feature is SZA on “Take Me Dancing,” built, per that same review, “more like a late-night exchange between two people who understand each other than a blockbuster duet.” The tour name “Ma Vie” is French for “my life”; the album title Vie means “life.” Playing Montreal with a French-titled tour is not a coincidence you ignore.

The Grammy Award-winning artist is on her first headlining tour since The Scarlet Tour wrapped in summer 2024. The North American leg spans 31 dates, opening October 1 in Detroit and closing December 1 at Madison Square Garden. Earlier legs across New Zealand, Australia, and Asia have already run, with previous shows drawing from a 27-song set that mixed Vie material (“Jealous Type,” “Gorgeous,” “AAAHH MEN!”) with catalog: “Say So,” “Kiss Me More,” “Paint the Town Red,” “Streets,” and “Need to Know.” No support act has been announced for the Montreal date.
