Dolly Parton was 10 years old when she first stepped onto the Grand Ole Opry stage — a girl from Sevier County, Tennessee, already writing her own songs. Reba McEntire was discovered singing the national anthem at the National Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma City in 1974. Shania Twain, born in Windsor, Ontario, began performing in clubs at age eight to help support her family and went on to become the best-selling female country artist of all time by marrying country conventions with classic rock swagger and a pop ambition that Nashville hadn’t quite seen before. Three careers, three very different kinds of greatness — and on Saturday, October 24, a tribute production at the Brockville Arts Centre sets out to honor all of it in a single evening.
About the Show
Queens of Country: Reba, Dolly & Shania is presented by Time Warp Promotions, a Canadian promoter that has been touring this production across Ontario since at least 2025. This is a tribute show — performers interpret the songs, the stage presence, and the distinct vocal identities of each artist, not the real Reba, Dolly, or Shania. The production features a full live band and what the billing calls dazzling costumes, moving from heartfelt ballads to upbeat anthems across all three catalogs.
The show anchors itself to the Grand Ole Opry’s centennial year. The Opry’s first broadcast went out on WSM Radio on November 28, 1925; its hundredth year has prompted tributes and celebrations across the country. Reba McEntire made her Opry debut on September 17, 1977, and was inducted as a member in 1986. Dolly Parton — multiple Grammy Award winner, Country Music Hall of Fame inductee, and the author of songs including “Jolene,” “9 to 5,” and “I Will Always Love You” — first appeared on that same Opry stage as a child. Time Warp Promotions’ production draws on all of it: the Opry legacy, the individual artist milestones, the country music tradition that runs through all three careers.
Venue & Logistics
The Brockville Arts Centre sits on King Street West in the North Country — the fall 2026 stop on a touring production that has also played Parry Sound, Brantford, and London this year. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. EDT; the show runs 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. This is an all-ages event.
