The Laughs Funny tour comes to Slush Puppie Place in Kingston, Ontario on Saturday, October 24, with two hours and 20 minutes of all-new material and an 8:00 p.m. start.
About the Show
Laughs Funny is built entirely from new material, separate from Carr’s 2024 Netflix special Natural Born Killer, which reached the top 10 in 29 countries and drew more than 5.2 million views. He describes the show’s premise with characteristic economy: “Jimmy Carr laughs funny and he wants to make you laugh by being funny.” He is an award-winning comedian known for dark one-liners and sharp audience interaction, and one of the most-streamed stand-ups of the past decade.
This Kingston date sits near the end of Carr’s Ontario leg — his fifth cross-Canada tour and, by his team’s own description, the most ambitious yet. The run covers 31 cities from Victoria to St. John’s between September 16 and November 22, 2026, moving coast to coast in under 10 weeks. Kingston follows Ottawa in the sequence, with Peterborough still ahead.

Slush Puppie Place is at 1 The Tragically Hip Way in Kingston — a real address, worth a second look. The arena holds up to 6,700 and has been Greater Kingston’s main sports and entertainment venue since it opened as K-Rock Centre in 2008; renamed under a 15-year deal in January 2024, it is also home to the Kingston Frontenacs of the OHL. Kingston sits at the eastern end of Lake Ontario. For audiences making the trip from New York’s North Country, the border is close; build in time for the crossing on a Saturday night.
