Dreamer: The Supertramp Experience at Brockville Arts Centre | August 8, 2026

By Marc Delacroix · July 20, 2026

Dreamer: The Supertramp Experience trades on fidelity rather than approximation: eight musicians, live horns, vintage Wurlitzer, and a full-album commitment to performing Crime of the Century, Supertramp’s landmark studio record, before working through the catalog of hits. The full production arrives at Brockville Arts Centre on Saturday, August 8.

The press response along their North American theatre circuit confirms the approach lands. Brian James of FM 105.5 Muskoka: “That was seriously one of the best concerts I’ve seen in ages. Incredible talent and passion from all.” Terry Makedon of T-Mak World described it as “a surreal Supertramp experience that is a triumphant delight to rock fans of all generations.”

About the Show

The performers are described in promotional materials as North America’s top session players, with vocal qualities that address both Roger Hodgson and Rick Davies, two very different voices representing two very different compositional instincts within the same catalog. The instrumentation is built to match: live clarinet, saxophone, flute, trombone, and vintage Wurlitzer keyboards. The full set runs Crime of the Century start to finish, then moves through the hits: “Give a Little Bit,” “The Logical Song,” “Take the Long Way Home,” “Breakfast in America.” Film projection behind the band and costume changes between sets push the production scope beyond the touring tribute norm, and standing ovations at theatre stops across North America have become a reliable outcome.

The Brockville date falls near the midpoint of a summer 2026 North American run. The band played two nights at the Belfry Music Theatre in Delavan, Wisconsin on July 31 and August 1 before this stop, and follows with a fall engagement at the FLATO Academy Theatre in Lindsay, Ontario in November.
