The Sacramento brothers behind 13 billion streams are stopping in South Burlington on Sunday, April 26 — Hippie Sabotage brings the Give and Take Tour to Higher Ground’s Ballroom with support from Kembe X. Doors at 7:00 PM, show at 8:00.
About Hippie Sabotage
Kevin and Jeff Saurer started making music together in middle school, pulled toward the layered, atmospheric sound that filled skateboarding video soundtracks. That instinct — moody, genre-fluid, built from the inside out — became their signature chill trap style: electronic production woven through hip-hop and psych-rock textures.
Their remix of Tove Lo’s “Habits (Stay High)” crossed 1 billion YouTube views and 1.6 billion Spotify streams. “Devil Eyes” has cleared 700 million Spotify streams on its own. Total streams worldwide: 13 billion and climbing.
Their 2023 album Trailblazer was followed by the 2024 Hawaii-inspired mixtape No Judgement — a duo still pulling from unexpected directions. They also executive produced Sleep Paralysis, the album by TDE rapper Kembe X, who opens this show. Not a throwaway opener. A genuine collaborator.
