Penn’s Peak sits at the top of a mountain outside Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania — and if you have never made the drive up to a show there, the arrival alone sets the mood. The Pocono Mountains venue holds 1,800 people, has a spacious dance floor, and runs a full-service restaurant and bar on site. Doors open at 7:00 PM on Friday, July 24.
About Jessie’s Girl
Jessie’s Girl is a New York City-based tribute act built for one purpose: throwing the most committed 80s party you have been to since the decade actually happened. Three vocalists — Destinee Monroe, Jerome Bell-Bastien, and Mark Rinzel — out front, backed by a four-piece band of 20-plus-year NYC music veterans: Eric Presti (guitar), Drew Mortali (bass), Michael Maenza (drums), and Karlee Bloom (keys/keytar).
These are not weekend warriors. They have shared stages with Bret Michaels, MC Hammer, Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, Taylor Dayne, Colin Hay, Mike Score of A Flock of Seagulls, Tone Loc, and Rob Base. They have played The Theater at Madison Square Garden, sold out the Capitol Theatre in Westchester, The Paramount on Long Island, and Count Basie Center for the Arts. They were the exclusive act aboard The ’80s Cruise through 2024.
The dress code at Penn’s Peak is part of the ask: neon, hairspray, the full commitment. Party like it’s 1989.
