About the Show
Beyond Magic combines illusions, comedy, and audience participation into what the event listing describes as “a modern, interactive illusion experience designed to captivate audiences of any age.” It’s fast-paced, and the whole format is built around the idea that the audience doesn’t just watch the magic — they become part of it. That means physical illusions staged for a proper theater and moments where your seat in the house is no guarantee of distance from the action. Bourada is a professional magician and mentalist based in the Ottawa area with more than 20 years of live performance experience, six completed national Canadian tours, and shows across more than 25 countries. He appeared on Penn & Teller: Fool Us, the competitive magic series filmed in Las Vegas, and his television credits extend to CTV, CW, Netflix, and Hulu. He’s been nominated for Canadian Entertainer of the Year. He’s also the most-followed professional magician in Canada on social media, with more than 2.5 million followers across platforms. Corporate clients on his roster include Google, Amazon, Adobe, and Shopify.
Beyond Magic has been active on Canadian stages throughout 2026, with confirmed stops in Ottawa in April and Pembroke, Ontario in October. The Brockville show continues that run into 2027.
