Muse at SPAC | July 24, 2026

By Marc Delacroix · March 27, 2026

Muse’s Friday, July 24 stop at SPAC is the only Upstate New York date on The Wow! Signal Tour, the British trio’s first full North American run in support of their tenth studio album. The record — also titled The WOW! Signal, after the 72-second narrowband radio burst SETI researchers logged from the direction of the Sagittarius constellation in 1977 — drops June 26, less than a month before the Saratoga show. Fans will be hearing the new material with the ink barely dry, which is exactly the kind of timing Muse has historically rewarded with their most ambitious staging.

About Muse

Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme, and Dominic Howard have been refining the same formula for over two decades: theatrical alternative rock with prog ambitions and a willingness to bet the production budget on the spectacle. Origin of Symmetry, Black Holes and Revelations, and The Resistance built the foundation; the Drones cycle proved they could carry the conceptual scaffolding into the biggest rooms without losing the thread. Their April warmup at Brixton Academy in London suggests this tour will be no different — early reports describe a blood-red color palette, blue LED towers, stained-glass projections during new single “Be With You,” and burning-world-map visuals over “United States Of Eurasia.” The setlist leaned hard on the canon — “Hysteria,” “Knights Of Cydonia,” “Supermassive Black Hole,” “Starlight,” “Uprising” — alongside three new tracks: “Cryogen,” “Unravelling,” and “Be With You.” “Cryogen” has already drawn comparisons to “Plug In Baby,” which is the kind of sentence that sells tickets to anyone who came up on Origin of Symmetry.

About the Venue

Saratoga Performing Arts Center, at 108 Avenue of the Pines, doesn’t need much introduction to anyone who has spent a summer in the Capital Region. The amphitheater holds 25,200 across its 5,200 sheltered seats and 20,000-capacity lawn — a ratio that has always made it one of the more democratically priced summer rooms in the Northeast. One reminder for returning lawn regulars: personal lawn chairs are prohibited at Live Nation shows as of the 2025 season; rentals are available through LiveNation.com. The bag policy is strict (small clutch 6"x9" or clear 12"x6"x12"), and no outside alcohol on the grounds.

This is the only Upstate New York stop on the run. The closest alternative is Jones Beach the following night, July 25.

Tickets

Bloc Party and The Temper Trap fill out a support bill that earns the billing — the former a mid-2000s indie-rock fixture behind Silent Alarm, the latter Australian festival-circuit veterans best known for “Sweet Disposition.” This is a triple bill with weight, not a token-opener arrangement. Show time is 7:00 PM. Presale is live now via Ticketmaster; public on-sale opened April 3.
