Roger Waters is not on stage for Legacy — he built the show and directs it from the outside, while a 10-piece ensemble does the performing. That arrangement is either the most interesting thing about this production or the first thing you want to know before buying a ticket. Either way, the music it is built around clears the bar: four Pink Floyd albums from the band’s concentrated peak, 1971 through 1979 — The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall — performed live, in a theater, with the full production those records were always asking for.
About the Show
The ensemble is led by Harry Waters, Roger’s son, who serves as musical director and plays B3 organ, piano, and vocals. Harry spent more than 15 years touring alongside his father — including at 2016’s Desert Trip — and as a child his voice appeared on The Wall, a biographical thread that runs through his role here in ways that go beyond family casting. “These songs have meant so much to so many people for so many years,” Roger Waters said in announcing the tour, “and I’m excited for audiences to come together and experience them live again.”
Filling the vocals originally performed by Roger Waters is Clifton David Broadbridge, a Canadian-born, Nashville-based singer selected after Harry reviewed more than 3,000 worldwide submissions and chose Broadbridge following an in-person audition. The full ensemble includes Graham Broad on drums, Edo Scordo and Antonello Pudva on guitars, Dahniel Knight on bass, Ryan Saranich on saxophone, percussion, guitar, and keyboards, Matt Riddle on keyboards, and Eva Avila and Genevieve Little on backing vocals. High-definition LED screens throughout the show display visual retrospectives drawn from original Pink Floyd imagery that Waters developed during the band’s active years; the show runs over two hours. “I fell in love with the music immediately,” Harry Waters said. “It really had an impact on me, irrespective of any bias because it was Dad’s music.”
The tour, produced by AEG Presents and ICON LIVE, encompasses more than 100 performances across North America and Europe in 2027, split between two North American legs: February 15 through May 2, and August 31 through September 25.

The Albany stop falls on the first leg of the tour. The show is at the Palace Theatre on Wednesday, April 14, 2027 at 7:30 p.m. The Palace is one of the Capital Region’s foremost rooms for touring theatrical productions of this scale — an A-list venue that suits a show designed explicitly for theater stages.
