Saintseneca at The Hangar on the Hudson | May 15, 2026

By Meg Andersen · April 15, 2026

Troy’s Hangar on the Hudson is the kind of 300-person room that makes a May show feel like an event rather than a transaction. Outdoors and covered, right on River Street — it earns the name. Saintseneca plays there on Friday, May 15, with Burlington, Vermont’s Lily Seabird opening. Doors at 7 PM, music at 8, runs until 11. Ages 21+.

About Saintseneca

Saintseneca is a Columbus, Ohio folk-punk band formed in 2007 by singer-songwriter Zac Little — a guy who grew up in southeastern Appalachian Ohio, spent time as a teenage preacher, and channeled all of that into something much harder to categorize. They’re on Anti- Records, and the instrumentation alone tells you what kind of band this is: bouzouki, Bulbul Tarang, balalaika, mandolin, and dulcimer alongside synthesizers and electric guitars. The lineup is rounded out by Caeleigh Featherstone, Jessi Bream, and Andy Cook.

Their fourth album, Pillar of Na — produced by Mike Mogis of Bright Eyes — digs into memory, personal reflection, and a Biblical metaphor built around the story of Lot’s wife. The title track spent eleven years in development. Their most recent release is Highwalllow & Supermoon Songs from 2025. As Little puts it: “I wanted to reach way back, echoing ancient folk melodies, tie that into punk rock, and then push it into the future.”

About Lily Seabird

Lily Seabird opens. The Bucks County native, now based in Burlington, is on Lame-O Records and has been putting in serious road miles since 2023 — touring solo and as a bassist with Greg Freeman, Lutalo, and Liz Cooper. Her 2025 album Trash Mountain was recorded in four days, nine tracks deep, and draws from the Elliott Smith / Neil Young / Leonard Cohen corner of the world. She describes songwriting as meditation: “It’s the way I work through things.” Quiet, but not small.

The Venue

The Hangar on the Hudson is at 675 River Street in Troy — an outdoor, covered event space with a 300-person capacity. Troy sits squarely between Albany and Saratoga, and if you’re making the trip from Central New York, budget a couple of hours from Syracuse and plan to make a full night of it in the Albany / Capital District. The show runs 8–11 PM, so you’re not burning a late night.
