Dave Matthews Band’s return to Darien Lake Amphitheater on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 marks roughly the 16th time the group has played this Western New York summer fixture since the late 1990s — and the first since their June 14, 2023 stop. For a band that has built much of its identity on long, repeat-engagement summer routing, the Darien Center date is less a one-off booking than a renewed entry in one of upstate’s longest-running concert relationships.

The 2026 Summer Tour is anchored to 31 headline dates that open May 8 at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, Texas and close with the band’s traditional Labor Day weekend residency at The Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington, September 4–6. The Darien Lake show sits inside an unusually dense New York swing: Forest Hills Stadium on June 10, the Broadview Stage at SPAC on July 17–18 — where the Saratoga Springs run will mark the band’s 50th headline performance at that venue — and a later stop at Northwell at Jones Beach in Wantagh.
This is the third year of DMB’s “On The Road To Zero Waste Tour,” the touring arm of what the band describes as a 21-year partnership with environmental nonprofit REVERB. Layered on top is a commitment to plant an additional one million trees through the band’s ongoing work with The Nature Conservancy. No opening act has been publicly announced for the Darien Lake show specifically; expect rotating special guests across the route.
The Venue
The Darien Lake Amphitheater, at 9993 Alleghany Road in Darien Center, sits roughly 30 miles east of Buffalo and 45 miles west of Rochester — the geographic hinge that has made it Western New York’s default summer shed for a generation.
