Tim McGraw launches his Pawn Shop Guitar Tour at Bethel Woods on Thursday, July 9, 2026 — and for once, “opening night” is meant literally. This is the first show of the run, the dress rehearsal that isn’t a rehearsal, the night a 33-date tour gets its legs. Catching a McGraw set on night one means hearing the new material before anyone’s had a chance to spoil it, with the setlist still fresh and the band hungry.

About Tim McGraw

McGraw needs little introduction to country fans — his career stretches back to the early 1990s, and the Pawn Shop Guitar Tour gives that long catalog a new frame to hang on. Opening the whole run in Sullivan County is a statement of confidence: you don’t kick off a 33-date tour at a venue you don’t trust to set the tone.

Opening the night is 49 Winchester, the Castlewood, Virginia outfit that’s become one of the most compelling voices in modern Americana. Their sound is built on Appalachian roots — Southern-rock grit welded to country storytelling — and a relentless touring schedule that’s earned them a fiercely loyal following. They’re the kind of opener who makes you glad you showed up early.

Venue Info

Bethel Woods doesn’t trade on hype because it doesn’t have to. The amphitheater sits on the original grounds of the 1969 Woodstock festival in Sullivan County, and that history hangs in the air whether or not you came for it. The covered pavilion keeps you dry if the Catskill weather turns; the lawn behind it is where the night really breathes. The on-site museum is worth arriving early for — it’s one of the best music history stops in the Hudson Valley, and a fitting pre-show ritual before a tour-opening set. Full details on the room are in our Bethel Woods guide.

Tickets & Pricing

Doors and showtime land at 7:00 PM. Tickets are on sale now, ranging from $66.25 to $236.25 — pavilion seats at the top end, lawn at the value end, same iconic ground under both.
