W.A.S.P. at Penn’s Peak | September 26, 2026
Penn’s Peak is hosting W.A.S.P. on Saturday, September 26 — and the tour name alone should tell you this is not a standard run-through-the-catalog night. The 1984 To Headless Tour is a deliberate march through W.A.S.P.’s peak commercial and artistic run, from their 1984 self-titled debut straight through The Headless Children era. If those albums shaped your relationship with heavy metal, this is the show you make the trip for.
About W.A.S.P.
Fronted by Blackie Lawless, W.A.S.P. built their reputation as a heavy metal and glam metal act through records including their 1984 self-titled debut and The Headless Children (1989). The 1984 To Headless Tour is framed around that catalog window — essentially a greatest-hits run through the band’s most celebrated era.
Live, expect a set running 80 to 90 minutes. Songs that appear regularly on recent setlists include “I Wanna Be Somebody,” “L.O.V.E. Machine,” “Sleeping (in the Fire),” “Hellion,” and “The Flame,” among others. Some shows open with a W.A.S.P. medley remix; others lead with a recorded intro — either way, the energy comes up fast.
Support comes from KK’s Priest, the band founded by KK Downing — former lead guitarist of Judas Priest — whose latest album The Sinner Rides Again is out on Napalm Records. This is a heavy double bill from start to finish.
