For a band that has been playing New York hardcore since 1982, Agnostic Front approaches their 13th studio album with the same bluntness that defined their Lower East Side beginnings: Echoes In Eternity is fifteen tracks in twenty-five minutes, and the worldwide tour behind it is nearly done. The Song & Dance in Syracuse is the second-to-last stop on a seven-date fall North American run, closing out a year of extensive touring that included a summer of European festival dates.
About the Show
Released November 7, 2025 on Reigning Phoenix Music, Echoes In Eternity was the band’s first new material since the 2019 LP Get Loud! Ghost Cult Magazine rated it 9/10, calling it “another overwhelming success” that places Agnostic Front at “the top of the hardcore heap.” The record blends, in the reviewer’s phrasing, “crushing groove with their less refined, punkier early days,” a description that fits a band whose working-class Lower East Side origins remain the point of reference forty-plus years on. Its themes (political corruption, armed conflict, social inequality) are the same ones that have defined Agnostic Front since the early ’80s. Standout tracks include the politically-charged “Way of War,” the pit anthem “Turn Up The Volume,” and “Matter of Life & Death,” featuring Darryl McDaniels of Run-DMC.
Roger Miret (vocals) and Vinnie Stigma (guitar) led the band through a brief early-’90s hiatus and back again with 1998’s Something’s Gotta Give; the current lineup fills out with Craig Silverman (guitar), Mike Gallo (bass), and Danny Lamagna (drums). Béton Armé and Restraining Order open. Miret on the run: “We are excited to do this quick short run with Baton Armé and Restraining Order to wrap up this years busy World Wide Tour in support of our new record Echoes In Eternity.”
