Arcy Drive at Higher Ground | May 14, 2026

By Kira Vasquez · April 26, 2026

Here is the situation: this show is sold out. But if you have been sleeping on Arcy Drive, that fact tells you everything you need to know about how fast this band is moving. The Long Island four-piece has been selling out venues nationally all year — coast to coast, from Webster Hall in New York to the Troubadour in Los Angeles — and their Thursday night stop at Higher Ground Ballroom in South Burlington is no exception. The Pit Tour: Spring 2026 wraps May 17. This is one of the final chances to catch them in a room this size.

About Arcy Drive

Arcy Drive — Nick Mateyunas on vocals and guitar, Austin Jones on guitar, Patrick Helrigel on bass, and Brooke Tuozzo on drums — grew up together in Northport on Long Island and named the band after the street where they rehearsed in a backyard shed. They call their sound “Attic Rock,” which turns out to be exactly right: organically unpolished, drawing on The Strokes and Talking Heads and the Moldy Peaches, but with a character that is distinctly theirs.

Their debut studio album The Pit came out in April 2025, produced by Angelo Petraglia and featuring a guest appearance from John Sebastian of The Lovin’ Spoonful. The record has crossed 35 million streams worldwide. The 2025 tour leg sold over 20,000 tickets and sold out headline rooms across the country — Webster Hall, Metro Chicago, Royale Boston, the Troubadour in LA. Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza were on the calendar as well. The Spring 2026 run picks up exactly where that momentum left off.

About Higher Ground

Higher Ground Ballroom is one of the better mid-size rooms in the Northeast — 750-cap, strong sightlines floor to back, and a booking track record that consistently catches touring indie acts before they move up to theaters. The room is in South Burlington, Vermont, just outside Burlington. For anyone in the North Country making the trip up, it is a reliable destination show in a part of the region that takes its live music seriously. Doors at 7:00 PM, show at 8:00 PM. All Ages.
