Be Kind and Rewind at Outer Space Old Forge | August 13, 2026

By Meg Andersen · July 31, 2026

Be Kind and Rewind has spent over a decade winning over New England audiences with a specific promise: that they can put the whole 1990s onstage at once. On Thursday, August 13, the Massachusetts-based tribute band brings that “Ultimate 90s Experience” to the Adirondacks for a show at Outer Space Old Forge, headlining the Saranac Thursdays summer concert series.

About the Show

The lineup earns the claim. Be Kind and Rewind runs a full ensemble (powerhouse vocals, guitars, bass, keys, drums, and a DJ) and covers the actual width of the decade: grunge, alt-rock, pop, and hip-hop. The band, established in 2015, built its following performing at clubs, festivals, and resorts across New England, and their shows are built around audience participation. Expect 90s-inspired fashion and stage design alongside what the band calls “house party vibes” and an interactive party atmosphere. The kind of set that works because everyone in the room already knows the words.

This Old Forge date falls in the middle of their summer 2026 run: eight confirmed dates across Virginia, New York, Connecticut, and Maryland, a footprint that stretches well beyond New England’s usual territory. By August 13, the set will be well-traveled. The show runs 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., a full three hours.

Venue & Logistics

SPACE Old Forge sits on NY-28 in Old Forge, with the Adirondacks in the background and an outdoor food and beverage courtyard at the center of the experience. The venue operates beyond concert nights as a daily gathering spot with a multi-floor indoor retail shop, a café, and the Grow Brewing taproom. Proprietor Tom Greco described the appeal as “space, comfort, safety, wonderful sound surrounded by mountains in the heart of all Old Forge has to offer right on Main Street.” This is North Country outdoor live music at its most straightforward, and the setting shapes what the show feels like.

Doors open at 5:00 p.m., a full hour before the band takes the stage. Food runs through the evening: flatbreads, gourmet grilled cheeses, salads, and deli sandwiches. Grow Brewing’s taproom is on-site alongside a craft soda bar for non-drinkers. Free on-site parking. ADA-compliant seating and a wheelchair-accessible entrance. The Saranac Thursdays series runs every Thursday in July and August.
