Claud’s third album, Me and the Music, is a deliberate pivot from the heavy tone of Supermodels — bedroom-pop that stays playful even while reckoning with hard feelings. The final date on a 12-date North American tour lands at Club B10 inside MASS MoCA in North Adams on Saturday, March 20.
About the Show
Claud (Claud Mintz) is a Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter-producer with two previous studio albums, Super Monster (2021) and Supermodels (2023). Me and the Music, released via Dead Oceans on October 23, 2026, is the first on which Claud is credited as a true co-producer, working alongside John Congleton, known for his work with Alvvays and St. Vincent.
The record was largely written and recorded at Electric Lady Studios with collaborators Hank Heaven and Annie DiRusso. Dan Nigro, who has produced for Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan, co-wrote the album’s angry ballad “The Legend.”
“I was just sick of taking everything so seriously,” Claud said of the tonal shift. “Supermodels was such a serious record, and I just sulked in feelings for so long. There’s a difference between being sincere with life and taking life too seriously.” The 10-track result finds that balance throughout. Lead single “She Doesn’t Love Me” is described as bittersweet, using America as a metaphor for unrequited love, with cameos in the video from Clairo, Samia, and Annie DiRusso. “I Owe You” is what Claud calls “an older sibling to ‘Soft Spot’” — a dream-pop love declaration that sits at the album’s romantic center. Opener “Gay Witchcraft” invokes magic to hold a relationship together; “Spells and Fortune Tellers,” co-written with Hank Heaven, is the track Claud has flagged as the album’s most replayable.
Claud is also a member of Shelly, a collaborative project with Clairo and Josh Mehling. No support acts have been announced. The North Adams show is the final stop on the tour, which opened February 18 in Boston.
