Dierks Bentley’s Off the Map Tour doesn’t arrive at Turning Stone Event Center as a standard summer package. This twelve-date run — opening June 12 in Rogers, Arkansas and closing July 18 — is built around a specific artistic argument: that the bluegrass thread Bentley has spent years pulling through his catalogue deserves to sit at the center of the show rather than at the margins. The New York stop lands on a Saturday night in July at a venue that knows how to handle a room in this mood.

About Dierks Bentley

With more than 13 number-one singles on the country charts, Bentley has long had the commercial credibility to do whatever he wants on tour — and what he wants, increasingly, is this: acoustic-rooted, traditional-leaning music that runs against the grain of mainstream Nashville production. He previously recorded The Mountain, a full bluegrass album, and his most recent record, Broken Branches (Capitol Records Nashville, June 2025), finds him describing the project as “mixing the bluegrass with the kickass.” That’s Bentley at his most concise, but the album earns the description.

Produced by Jon Randall and Ross Copperman, Broken Branches assembles an unusually strong guest roster: John Anderson — inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2024 — appears on the title track alongside Riley Green; Miranda Lambert contributes to “Near You”; Stephen Wilson Jr. lends his voice to “Cold Beer Can,” a stripped-down, blue-collar track that fits the album’s grounded character. Across eleven songs, Bentley wrote fewer than half the tracks, which for an artist of his standing reads less like a creative retreat and more like a deliberate act of curation.

The Off the Map Tour extends that curatorial logic into the live set. Ricky Skaggs — who joins Bentley on a reimagined version of “Free and Easy” — is featured throughout the run, along with Kaitlin Butts and Cole Goodwin. Support act assignments per individual date have not been officially confirmed at the date level; the trio’s involvement is announced for the tour overall.

Turning Stone Event Center

Turning Stone Event Center in Verona is among the more capable casino rooms in the Northeast for a touring act of this profile — a purpose-built space with the production infrastructure that a show of Bentley’s scale requires. The broader Turning Stone Resort has a long track record of booking major country and rock touring acts, and the Event Center delivers on what that audience expects: clean sight lines, strong sound, and a setting that doesn’t fight the music. For Central New York concertgoers, it’s a reliable room for a serious show. Browse the full Syracuse / Central NY concert calendar for more upcoming events in the region.
