Don Omar at Centre Bell | February 21, 2027

By Eli Thorne · July 20, 2026

Twenty years after King of Kings defined what reggaeton could do in mainstream markets (No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums for 11 weeks, No. 7 on the Billboard 200 for 30 weeks), Don Omar is back in arenas for the first time in over a decade. The Last King World Tour brings that anniversary to Centre Bell in Montreal on Sunday, February 21, as one of 17 dates added after fall 2026 shows sold out.

About the Show

The tour is a direct anniversary celebration of King of Kings, the 2006 record built on collaborations with both Latin and mainstream artists that charted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200. It was the album that made the crossover argument for reggaeton in markets that had never taken it seriously. Don Omar, full name William Omar Landrón Rivera and known throughout the genre as El Rey, has carried that title for twenty years across music, production, acting, and entrepreneurship. It is not honorary; he earned it.

The initial fall 2026 leg ran 21 U.S. cities, from Reading, PA through Boston, Dallas, Miami, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. Ten dates sold out, among them Dallas, Orlando, Miami, Brooklyn, Houston, and Los Angeles, and Cárdenas Marketing Network responded with a 17-city 2027 extension. That extension runs February through March, followed by a Europe leg covering Zurich, Paris, London, and Madrid.

Montreal’s date lands on that second wave. The catalog he is touring includes “Danza Kuduro,” “Dale Don Dale,” “Salió El Sol,” and “Bandoleros” — the songs that pulled reggaeton past its original markets. His music is back on vinyl for the first time in 20 years. Don Omar received the Global Icon Award from Premio Lo Nuestro in 2024 for his lasting influence on the genre and role in its mainstream adoption worldwide. He holds multiple Latin Grammy and Billboard Latin Music Award recognitions. His 2024 Back to Reggaetón Tour moved over 335,000 tickets across 39 shows. This is the bigger one.
