When Hilary Duff announced the lucky me tour on Instagram earlier this year, she did it by going through her closet — pulling out a microphone headset from The Lizzie McGuire Movie and captioning the video “I’M GOING ON A WORLD TOUR!!! … now what do I wear?” It was the right frame for a return this long in the making: her first full-scale global headline tour in nearly two decades, with stops at amphitheaters and arenas across seven countries. On Friday, February 5, that run reaches Centre Bell in Montreal, with Lauren Spencer Smith opening.
About the Show
The lucky me tour is built around luck… or something, Duff’s sixth studio album and her first since 2015’s Breathe In. Breathe Out. Released February 20, 2026 on Atlantic Records, the album arrived with two lead singles: “Mature,” out in fall 2025, and “Roommates,” co-written with husband Matthew Koma and Brian Phillips. Rolling Stone called “Roommates” “10 OUT OF 10 … one of her best songs,” and the track has crossed 2 million YouTube views while climbing Pop and Hot AC radio.
That landing means more when you factor in the history. Duff’s debut, Metamorphosis (2003), went 4X platinum. Her first three albums sold 15 million copies worldwide. The time since 2015’s Breathe In. Breathe Out. has been largely quiet on the music front — which is part of why a world tour with arena stops from Madison Square Garden to the Kia Forum carries the weight it does. The Montreal date is one of the last North American nights on the calendar; Lauren Spencer Smith supports the full 2027 Canadian run.
Venue & Logistics
Centre Bell is Montreal’s major arena, and February 5 lands near the close of the tour’s Canadian leg, three days after Ottawa and a week before the lucky me tour finale in Mexico City on February 12. For anyone making the drive from northern New York, the border crossing to Montreal is manageable, and with only a few dates left in the entire run, this is one of the last chances to catch the lucky me tour on this continent.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. show. Per venue operator Evenko, this is an all-ages (E) event — every fan who has been following Duff since the Lizzie McGuire years is welcome. Find more upcoming shows in the North Country region.
