Simple Plan’s February 12 date at Centre Bell is, technically, one stop on a 15-arena Canadian tour. It is also the night a Montreal band comes home to the largest stage their city has to offer, 25 years into a career built on the kind of catalog loyalty that doesn’t require constant reinvention to sustain.

The show falls within the “Bigger Than You Think!” tour’s Canadian arena leg — 15 dates, eight provinces, January 26 through February 16, 2027, produced by Live Nation. The band has called it their first proper cross-Canada headlining tour in more than a decade: “It’s been more than 10 years since the last time we did a proper cross-Canadian tour in our home and native land,” they said in announcing the dates. Yellowcard and Bowling for Soup join as support for Montreal, assembling a bill drawn from the same early-2000s pop-punk axis that produced Simple Plan’s rise — which makes the nostalgia feel less like an artifact and more like a reunion. The band’s catalog provides the night with its weight: four albums reached Canada’s top five — Still Not Getting Any… (No. 2, 2004), the self-titled record (No. 2, 2008), Get Your Heart On! (No. 2, 2011), and Taking One For The Team (No. 4, 2016) — and globally they have sold more than 10 million albums. Their most recent album, Harder Than It Looks, is currently available. The band also has a documentary, SIMPLE PLAN: The Kids in the Crowd, streaming on Prime Video, and an illustrated children’s book titled I’m Just a Kid — drawn from their signature song — available for pre-order in English and French. In 2026, Simple Plan played a sold-out RBC Amphitheatre performance and returned to Warped Tour Montreal before turning their focus to this arena run. One dollar from every ticket goes to the Simple Plan Foundation, which has raised more than $3 million supporting youth in need.
