Drake Milligan at Buffalo Iron Works | May 12, 2026

By Nate Calloway · April 26, 2026

Drake Milligan is the kind of country artist who makes you feel like you stumbled onto something before the mainstream caught up — even though he finished third on America’s Got Talent in 2022 and has since toured alongside Lainey Wilson and Luke Bryan. He’s got the old-soul thing: rooted in George Strait and Merle Haggard, cut with rockabilly and Texas swing. On Tuesday, May 12, he brings the Tumbleweed World Tour to Buffalo Iron Works. Doors open at 7:00 PM, show at 8:00 PM.

About Drake Milligan

Out of Arlington, Texas, Milligan has been carving out a lane as one of traditional country’s most compelling young voices. His 2025 album Tumbleweed — produced by Trent Wilmon with fiddle from Jenee Fleenor — is the record he described as “the type of album I always wanted to make,” and the confidence in it is earned. Tracks like “Lonely 30,” “Good As Gone,” and the title cut carry a Bakersfield-meets-Texas twang with enough rockabilly edge to keep things interesting. Press has called him “the Elvis of Country,” and while that shorthand undersells his range, it’s not wrong about the magnetism. Buffalo is the fifth of six stops on a Midwest/Northeast run that closes in Binghamton on May 15 — if you’ve been meaning to catch him, this is your window.

Buffalo Iron Works

Buffalo Iron Works is a beautifully restored early 1900s factory space with a reputation as one of Buffalo’s best intimate live music venues. The kind of room that rewards showing up for — the industrial character of the building becomes part of the atmosphere, and the scale works in favor of an artist like Milligan, who puts everything into a live set. Visit buffaloironworks.com for directions and venue details before you head out.
