Clover’s Curfew have played the Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas, toured Ireland, and landed a song in the London Celtic Punks Top 30. They make music that sits somewhere between a campfire and a pit — folk’s heartache forced through punk’s volume. Colony Woodstock holds 150 people, and on October 8 that is exactly enough room.

Clover’s Curfew is the Long Island married duo of Jameson Jenkins and Danni Christian, formed in 2019 when Jenkins’s punk history met Christian’s folk roots. They call it “folk’s deep rooted heartache and punk’s ferocious, unapologetic fury.” The live sets are high-energy and grounded in a DIY foundation. They have toured nationally since 2022, played the Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas and the streets of Galway, Ireland, collaborated with Laura Jane Grace of Against Me!, and a song from their catalog ranked No. 14 in the London Celtic Punks Top 30 of 2023. Their most recent full-length is Sail Away.
Blair Baldwin is a Woodstock-based queer singer-songwriter — October 8 is a hometown show. Originally from Texas, Baldwin draws from folk, rock, bluegrass, and musical theatre, writing narrative songs about identity and resilience. The sound is raw and guitar-driven; the stage presence is described as commanding. The standout in the catalog is Wildflower, described as “an anthem for queer, mixed-race folx navigating the world today.” Baldwin played the O+ Festival in Kingston earlier this year.
Blood & Stomach Pills are from Kingston, not far up the road. Husband and wife Heron and Sierra Furtwangler build their sound on gnashing guitars and undertaker organ, turning out gritty cowpunk that digs into depression and displacement and then keeps moving. They cut their teeth in Brooklyn, relocated to the Hudson Valley, and opened for Tav Falco. Chronogram reviewed their debut What Rough Beast as “wonderfully morose and rocking” and compared them to North Carolina’s Flat Duo Jets. New vinyl is out; their single “Terrible” is a free download.

Colony Woodstock is at 22 Rock City Road in Woodstock, a 1929 brick building that has operated as a live music venue, restaurant, and hotel. It sits in the Hudson Valley. Doors at 6 p.m., show at 7 p.m.
