Five years removed from his departure from Surfaces, Forrest Frank arrives at KeyBank Center on June 8 as one of the most commercially potent forces in contemporary Christian music — a transition that few would have predicted when “Sunday Best” was racking up triple-platinum streams under a different name.
About Forrest Frank
Frank left the Surfaces duo in 2021, relocated to Waco, Texas, and built a solo catalog grounded in explicit Christian faith. CHILD OF GOD, released in 2024, became the best-selling Christian album of that year, earned RIAA Gold certification, and debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes Overall Top Albums chart — not the Christian chart, the overall chart. The follow-up, CHILD OF GOD II, earned a 2026 GRAMMY nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album. The single “YOUR WAY’S BETTER” crossed into the Billboard Hot 100, finished as Billboard’s No. 2 Hot Christian Song of 2025, and carries its own GRAMMY nomination. Frank took GMA Dove Award Artist of the Year in 2025.
The Jesus Generation Tour follows the sold-out Child of God Tour Part 2 and spans 29 North American cities from June 1 through August 1. The routing signals scale: Madison Square Garden on June 10, the Intuit Dome in mid-July, Globe Life Field in Arlington to close the run. Buffalo lands on June 8 — the first time Frank has played Western New York.
