About Gannon Fremin & CCREV
Gannon Fremin & CCREV come out of Walters, Oklahoma, where Fremin, bassist Wade Cartwright, drummer Tyler McCartney, and guitarist Travis Julian grew up together and spent the better part of a decade building something real before the rest of the world caught up. Their sound pulls from Red Dirt roots, hard rock, Southern rock, and grunge’s loud-quiet-loud dynamics — landing somewhere between Cross Canadian Ragweed and a room that is too loud and too fun to leave. Fremin described their live shows plainly: “It’s loud, everybody’s crashing into each other everywhere, they’re throwing stuff… it’s a good time.”
After nearly ten years as an independent act — playing festivals like Calf Fry in Stillwater, opening for Parker McCollum, Saving Abel, and Mike & The Moonpies, and releasing Shelter Sessions and the Okie Thump EP — Warner Records signed the band around 2024. The breakthrough single “With or Without Me” drove that momentum, and they have since shared stages at Red Rocks and the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles while opening for Treaty Oak Revival. Their debut LP is in progress with producer Taylor Kimball. Expect a band on the way up, playing like they know it.
