Keith Roth at Sherman Theater | September 26, 2026

By Meg Andersen · August 1, 2026

For 25 years, Keith Roth was the one doing the asking — more than 1,000 interviews on the Electric Ballroom Radio Show, drawing in the Ramones, Kiss, members of the Who, Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, the Kinks, and the Clash. His debut solo album, The Law of Diminished Returns, puts him on the other side of that exchange. On Saturday, September 26, he brings it to the Sherman Showcase in Stroudsburg.

About the Show

Roth has the kind of career biography that takes a minute to absorb. He has served as lead singer and guitarist for The Dictators and Frankenstein 3000, hosted Ozzy’s Boneyard and Hair Nation on SiriusXM since 2003, and produced David Johansen’s Mansion of Fun for over 20 years. He also starred in Let Me Down Hard, a 2016 film that won both the Asbury Park Film Festival and the Garden State Film Festival, and produced the film’s soundtrack. He has recorded on more than 50 records across a career spanning over three decades.

The Law of Diminished Returns, released March 21 on Deko Entertainment, is the first record under his own name: 11 tracks that draw from across his range, with guest appearances from Albert Bouchard of Blue Oyster Cult, Monster Magnet drummer Bob Pantella, Angel guitarist Punky Meadows, and Ross the Boss of the Dictators and Manowar. The record reaches past rock into soul on its second single, a Curtis Mayfield cover made to capture “so many childhood memories.” Lead single “I Don’t Feel Like Thinking Today!” arrived December 6; the album is available on CD and limited-edition blue vinyl.

Sharing the bill are Full Steen Ahead, a New Jersey band running the line between new wave and classic punk, known for high-energy sets at venues including Starland Ballroom and Crossroads. Porch Rockers, a punk rock cover band featuring Chris Harder (guitar, vocals), Mark McClemens (bass, vocals), Eddy Enzyme (drums), and Dave Popkin (vocals), complete the three-act general admission lineup.
