Lucid Street at Putnam Place | August 7, 2026

By Meg Andersen · August 4, 2026

Lucid Street calls themselves “Classic Rock Reborn,” but that tagline barely covers the territory. The Colonie-based four-piece runs from Rush and Led Zeppelin straight into Beyoncé and Sabrina Carpenter without pausing to account for the jump, and live, that range is the whole argument. They play Putnam Place in Saratoga Springs on Friday, August 7.

About the Show

The band formed in 2021 when founding vocalist Cait Tizzone connected with original members at an open mic in Upstate New York. “Don’t pick a lane” is how they sum up their philosophy, and the current lineup is built to deliver on it: Tizzone on lead vocals, violin, and piano; Mike Ilyadis on drums; Nolan Hassler on guitar; and Jake Hyatt on bass. Tizzone cites influences that span Freddie Mercury, Mariah Carey, and Whitney Houston, which starts to explain how the band can hold Queen and Metallica in the same set as Michael Jackson and Earth, Wind & Fire. Their own framing: “the cream of classic rock, playing the songs that no other bands can.”

Lucid Street released a self-titled debut album in June 2025, featuring original tracks including “The Dragon’s Keep” and “Stay True to the Cliche,” available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and vinyl. A second album is in development. On the live side, the band has opened for national acts including Marillion, Vixen, and Dorothy, performed at Marillion Weekend in Montreal, and toured a stretch from Montreal to Washington, DC. In February 2026, they played Rush’s Moving Pictures in its entirety at the Strand Theatre in Hudson Falls — a deep-catalog commitment that goes well beyond the usual cover-act formula. A free outdoor show at Long Lake Town Beach Stage followed on July 3.

Venue & Logistics

Putnam Place sits on Putnam Street in Saratoga Springs, a short walk from Broadway. For Lucid Street, it is close to home: the band is based in Colonie, and the Capital Region circuit covers a lot of this same ground. August means Saratoga racing season, and the Flat Track draws crowds that make the whole city busy well past the afternoon. Give yourself extra time getting there and for parking. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.; the show runs from 8:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. This is a 21+ event.
