Meet Me @ The Altar at Showcase Lounge at Higher Ground | June 5, 2026

By Meg Andersen · May 24, 2026

Burlington is worth the trip on its own. Add Meet Me @ The Altar rolling in on their Worried Sick Summer Tour and pulling into Higher Ground‘s Showcase Lounge on Friday, June 5, 2026, and you have a real reason to point the car north. Doors open at 7:30 PM, show at 8:00 PM, all ages.

The band is a duo right now, and that context matters. Drummer Ada Juarez and vocalist Edith Victoria kept going after guitarist-bassist Téa Campbell’s April 2025 departure — and instead of regrouping quietly, they came back with Worried Sick, a 2025 EP co-written and produced by Mike Green (Paramore, 5 Seconds of Summer, Pierce The Veil). They described it as a return to their easycore roots: “a cathartic, reflective body of work” that strips things back and hits harder for it. A deluxe edition followed in January 2026. This is a band that shed weight and found something sharper underneath.

The press noticed. NPR praised the duo’s “punchy rhythm section” and noted Edith Victoria “soars through powerful hook after hook.” SPIN singled out “memorable lyrics and infectious jams.” Alternative Press cheered the “unending optimism” of their 2023 debut album Past // Present // Future. They have shared stages with Green Day, MUNA, and 5 Seconds of Summer, and logged time at Lollapalooza, Riot Fest, and When We Were Young. The resume is earned.

Support on this date comes from Fluorescents — Chicago pop-punk, established 2018 — and Leisure Hour, both on the full summer run.

The Venue

Higher Ground is a 750-capacity room with a reputation that precedes it — one of the consistently well-run venues in the North Country and a reliable home for artists on the way up. The Burlington stop lands right off back-to-back Canadian dates (Toronto June 3, Montreal June 4), which means the band arrives road-warm and hitting their stride. Plan to be there before the 7:30 PM doors.

Tickets

This is an all-ages show. The Worried Sick Summer Tour has been running since May 30 and this is one of the closer stops to home for upstate listeners. Grab your tickets now.
