The Pavilion at Montage Mountain is an 18,000-capacity open-air amphitheater — 7,500 reserved seats under the pavilion roof plus 10,000 on the lawn — set within the Montage Mountain Ski Area in Scranton, PA. The sound and video system was overhauled in the venue’s 2007 renovations, and the scale of the property gives the whole evening an unexpectedly expansive feel.
Parking: the 645,000-square-foot lot opens at 3 PM for most shows, and general parking is included with admission. For a headline run this size, arriving early puts you ahead of the crowd.
