The Jacksonville, Alabama singer-songwriter has spent the last couple of years turning a back-to-basics country sound into genuine chart muscle. “Worst Way” peaked at No. 20 on the Hot 100 and topped Billboard’s Country Airplay chart in June 2025 — his third No. 1 there, and the first he scored as both sole writer and performer. His instinct for a duet keeps widening the audience, too.
