The Four Horsemen – The Album-Quality Metallica Experience at Paramount Hudson Valley | November 27, 2026

By Marc Delacroix · October 26, 2026

When Sean Perry attended a Metallica show on the Black Album tour in 1991, he walked away knowing what he was going to do with the rest of his professional life. “The sound, the energy between band and audience,” Perry has said, “from that moment on, I knew what I was put on earth to do.” He founded The Four Horsemen in 2006, a Metallica tribute built on that conviction, and what followed spans 40 states of touring, a global management deal with Tesla co-founder Brian Wheat, a Guitar World Magazine feature no other Metallica tribute can claim, and a spot in Metallica’s own documentary, Metallica Saved My Life. The band plays the Paramount Hudson Valley in Peekskill on Friday, November 27.

About the Show

The Four Horsemen bill themselves as “the USA’s premier Metallica experience,” and the resume gives the claim traction. The band’s catalog focus is Metallica’s first four records — Kill ’Em All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, and …And Justice for All — plus anthems from the Black Album, all delivered without gimmicks or theatrical staging. Stage setup is period-correct: Marshall amp stacks, White Gibson Explorer guitars, attire from the 1980s thrash era, and a handlebar mustache on Perry calibrated to Hetfield circa 1991. What separates The Four Horsemen from the broader tribute circuit is the depth of the catalog they draw from. Songs like “Dyers Eve,” “Trapped Under Ice,” and “The Shortest Straw” have largely disappeared from Metallica’s own setlists; the band has built tens of thousands of loyal fans across the country partly by delivering those cuts with what press accounts consistently describe as “note-for-note” precision. From U.S. club circuit regulars, they have since expanded into an international touring act — a trajectory that the Metallica documentary appearance only accelerated.

Venue & Logistics

The Paramount Hudson Valley in Peekskill is a 1,024-seat theater, a room calibrated for exactly the kind of show this is. Metal at venue scale works differently than it does in an arena or amphitheater, and the Hudson Valley doesn’t get many bookings that lean this hard into the thrash era. The show is all ages; guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Show time is 8 p.m.
