About the Show
Madrazo founded The Pink Floyd Project during the COVID lockdowns, describing the impulse on the band’s site as “transforming isolation into inspiration.” The project was built on community support from venue owners, sound engineers, and early fans, and has grown into something with real reach: the band is currently touring across five countries, with upcoming dates in the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, and Belgium alongside their domestic calendar. They bill themselves as “New York’s Premier Pink Floyd Tribute Band” and have accumulated over 1 million views online.
Among the nine performers: Madrazo handles lead guitar and serves as music and technical director; John Galgano takes lead vocals and bass; Kaylin Ponce provides a second lead voice; Rob Marsanico covers keyboards; Chris Tufaro handles drums and percussion; Hunter Dean plays saxophone; and Kevin Robbins manages sound effects, video, and audio engineering in real time. That last role is not incidental — it is the difference between a band playing Floyd songs and a band attempting to reconstruct the sensory architecture of a Floyd show. No support act is listed for the November 7 date.
Venue & Logistics
Colony Woodstock sits in Woodstock, N.Y., in a building originally constructed as a hotel in 1929. Neil and Alexia Howard purchased it in 2014 and rebuilt the room top to bottom — sound system, stage, and lighting among them. General Manager Michael Hurwitz describes the result as “a world class venue in terms of production,” which, in a 150-cap bar on Rock City Road, is a specific kind of ambition. The programming runs an intentional range: Grateful Dead tribute acts alongside national touring artists alongside local musicians. Doors are at 6 p.m.; the show runs 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
