Agnostic Front at Rec Room | October 14, 2026

By Marc Delacroix · August 24, 2026

Agnostic Front has been playing hardcore longer than most of their current fans have been alive. Their thirteenth studio album, Echoes in Eternity, released last November on Reigning Phoenix Music (fifteen tracks, roughly twenty-five minutes, none of them interested in being gentle), suggests that Roger Miret and Vinnie Stigma have not given much thought to slowing down.

About the Show

The Echoes in Eternity Tour brings the band to Rec Room in Buffalo on Wednesday, October 14, with support from Béton Armé and Restraining Order. Béton Armé, a Quebec-based punk/oi! act formed in 2018, released Renaissance in July 2025. Restraining Order, out of West Springfield, Massachusetts, fuses ’80s youth crew spirit with modern hardcore and released Future Fortune in 2025. Agnostic Front’s lineup for this run is Roger Miret on vocals, Vinnie Stigma on guitar, Mike Gallo on bass, and Danny Lamagna on drums.

The band established themselves in New York’s hardcore scene in 1982, building their reputation through relentless runs at CBGB — they hold the record for most shows there by any hardcore act and were the last hardcore band to perform at the club before it closed. Their 1984 debut, Victim in Pain, set the template for what followed. Echoes in Eternity is the thirteenth studio album, described in its own promotional materials as “blistering hardcore punk with hard-earned wisdom.” Ghost Cult Magazine rated it 9/10, calling the opening track “Way of War” “the musical equivalent of having your face smashed against concrete for two minutes straight.” The album was produced by Mike Dijan and mixed by Zeuss at Planet-Z; Darryl “DMC” McDaniels of Run-DMC appears on the track “Matter of Life & Death.”

Miret, now 61, recently overcame cancer. His framing of the band’s current moment, from a Blabbermouth feature: “Our band will echo in eternity. I really feel that way.” Vinnie Stigma is 69. Their live shows, by every account in the recent press cycle, are not less intense for the years.
