Angèle built her reputation on French-language pop that crosses borders not because it tries to, but because the hooks are too immediate to ignore. On Saturday, April 17, the Belgian singer brings the Instinct Tour to Centre Bell in Montreal — her only Canadian stop on a 23-date international run that moves from Paris and Brussels to just three cities in North America.

The tour supports INSTINCT, Angèle’s third album, out October 16, 2026, on GGL Records, her own imprint. The 13-track record runs harder and more electronic than her previous work, with collaborators including Justice, Soulwax, Sebastian, and Caroline Polachek. The first single, “Une seule vie,” arrived August 28, 2026. Angèle has described the project as “a work built around returning to intuition, to that part of ourselves that exists before expectations, performance, and external noise.”
She grew up in Brussels, the daughter of a musician and an actress, and broke through with debut album Brol, which topped the charts in both France and Belgium. In 2019, “Balance ton quoi” became an anthem for the French #MeToo movement. With nearly 4 billion streams globally, she has since collaborated with Dua Lipa on “Fever,” with Justice on “What You Want,” and with Kavinsky. In 2024, she performed at the Paris Olympics closing ceremony alongside Phoenix, singing Kavinsky’s “Nightcall.” The Instinct Tour, described as her most ambitious live venture to date, opens March 3 in Reims, runs three consecutive nights at the Accor Arena in Paris and two nights in Brussels, then crosses the Atlantic. Montreal is the first of three North American dates; the tour continues to Brooklyn Paramount on April 21 and The Wiltern in Los Angeles on April 24. No support acts have been announced for the Montreal date.
Venue & Logistics
Centre Bell opened in 1996 and has been the main arena for large-scale events in downtown Montreal since. The building, at 1909 avenue des Canadiens-de-Montréal, seats more than 21,000.
