Austin Snell at Buffalo Iron Works | November 7, 2026

By Nate Calloway · August 17, 2026

Austin Snell describes the sound he makes as “grunge country” — the kind of phrase that earns its right to exist the moment you hear him sing. A Georgia voice draped over guitar tones that split the difference between Alan Jackson and Nirvana: that is the broad claim, and his catalog mostly makes good on it. But the Colors EP, out this past May on River House Artists/Warner Records Nashville, moves somewhere harder to categorize. Stripped back and unguarded, it is what Snell himself has called what healing sounds like. It is his most candidly personal work yet, and it is what this tour is built around.

About the Show

Snell brings his Fall 2026 Colors Tour to Buffalo Iron Works on Saturday, November 7, performing at 8:00 p.m. A Georgia-born U.S. Air Force veteran who built an early following through social media before his 2024 debut album Still Bleeding put him on a wider stage, Snell has since logged more than 120 tour dates in 2025, performed at the Grand Ole Opry, and accumulated 383 million career streams globally. The prior EP, Home Sweet Hell, earned a “most captivating to date” notice from Billboard. Colors is the next step: seven tracks released deliberately during Mental Health Awareness Month, built around Snell’s own admission of taking what he used to be ashamed of and making it part of his identity. HITS magazine called the collection “points the way ahead for this exciting newcomer.”

The set will draw from that material. “Daddy’s Eyes” opens with an examination of generational difference and paternal relationships. “Circles” takes on toxic relationship patterns while keeping a deliberately upbeat arrangement (Snell has spoken about the value of mixing heavier themes with something the listener can move to). The title track was written for his now-fiancée Ally Klein and became a real-life proposal, captured at Nashville’s Scarritt Bennett Center. No support act has been announced for the Buffalo stop.

Venue & Logistics

Buffalo Iron Works is on Illinois Street in western New York, part of the regional touring circuit. The 500-capacity club is an appropriate room for where Snell is in his career: intimate enough to honor the quieter corners of Colors, and the promoter’s own description of him as “armed with a pen like a nerve ending and the warm metallic buzz of a rip saw vocal” suggests they understand what they’ve booked.
