glaive — Ash Blue Gutierrez, based in Asheville, North Carolina — got his start uploading tracks to SoundCloud and connecting with collaborators through Discord, including kurtains, a fellow member of the slowsilver03 collective. He signed to Interscope in 2020 and has been covered by The New York Times, Vulture, GQ, and The FADER. His 2024 album May It Never Falter, recorded in Iceland and Wales, was ranked among that year’s best by Vogue — an artist who had moved well past the hyperpop room he started in.
God Save The Three (May 8, 2026) started as a spontaneous July 4, 2025 session in Asheville and took shape at a retreat in the Cotswolds. The pair described making it as “almost miraculous to make music with someone you consider a brother.” The record sounds like it: countrified anthems next to glitchy electronic pop, jangly rock sitting against something more propulsive, the whole thing drawing from English countryside folklore and internet-era instinct at once. Lead single “The Troubles” was filmed in Kilkee, Ireland; standout tracks include “Weston Super Mare” and “Crisis.” Acclaim came from The Line of Best Fit, Stereogum, Clash, and NPR.

Electric City is at 433 Pearl St. in Buffalo’s Theater District, a stop on the western New York circuit where national acts play before heading deeper into the Midwest. The venue name references Buffalo’s designation as America’s first electrified city. Doors 7:00 p.m., show 8:00 p.m. All ages.
