Blackberry Smoke at UPAC | September 19, 2026

By Meg Andersen · May 6, 2026

Blackberry Smoke are closing out their 25th Anniversary Tour in Kingston, New York — and the Ulster Performing Arts Center is about as good a room as you could hope to land for the final night of a run.

The Atlanta band formed in 2000, built on the Southern rock tradition of Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers, with blues, country, gospel, and a little R&B woven through. Charlie Starr leads on vocals and lead guitar. Their 2021 album You Hear Georgia hit number one on Billboard’s Americana/Folk chart. Be Right Here followed in 2024 and cracked the top five on current album sales. They have played Austin City Limits, Bonnaroo, Glastonbury, and Download UK. This is not a band that treats any night like a throwaway show — least of all the one that closes the tour.

September 19 is the final stop of a 17-date extension that started August 1 in Davenport, Iowa and wound through the South, Midwest, and Northeast. Last night of the run energy is something you can feel from the first song. Expect them to leave everything on the stage.

UPAC sits at 601 Broadway in Kingston — a 1,500-seat theater right in the heart of the Hudson Valley. A September Saturday drive down through the Catskills is its own reward before the show even starts. One practical heads-up before you go: UPAC has no elevator. If you need ADA seating accommodations, contact the box office directly through bardavon.org — do that in advance, not the night of.

Tickets & Pricing

Tickets are $45, $65, and $85, with member discounts available through Bardavon. Buy at the box office in person if you can — Ticketmaster is an option, but fees apply and member benefits do not transfer through that channel.

VIP packages start at $195 (premium ticket, signed poster, exclusive merchandise shipped to your door) and go up to $306, which adds a preshow mini-performance, photo opportunity, commemorative laminate, and access to the Brit Turner Memorial Display — a tribute to the band’s late drummer. Doors open for a 7:30 PM show.
