Jeff Leeson: Only Gonna Say This Once Comedy Tour at Brockville Arts Centre | September 19, 2026

By Meg Andersen · July 21, 2026

Jeff Leeson’s sets don’t look the same two nights running, which makes the Only Gonna Say This Once Comedy Tour title feel earned rather than promotional. He blends traditional stand-up with long-form crowd work, letting each show take shape around the room and the people who showed up that night — an approach he has been refining for more than 25 years across North America. The tour lands at Brockville Arts Centre on Saturday, September 19.

About the Show

Leeson started performing comedy at age 14 and has spent the decades since building one of the more distinctive careers on the North American theater circuit. His Comedy Dynamics special “Grandma Used To Heckle Me” captures what that looks like live. Neil Griffin of Crack Me Up Comedy, reviewing it, put it plainly: “Jeff does an amazing job. I’ve never seen someone do an hour of crowd work and make me cry all the way through.” Kevin O’Keefe of the iChannel offered similar praise, calling him “one of those true talents that come along only so often in this business.”

His media credits span Sirius XM, The Bob & Tom Show on WGN, MTV, and the iChannel. He has two comedy specials on Amazon Prime, a DryBar Comedy Special, and a YouTube special titled “Sorry I’m Not Kevin Hart.” His content has cleared 100 million views online. The Only Gonna Say This Once tour runs through November, with stops across Ontario, New Brunswick, PEI, and Minnesota. The August 21 date in Ridgeway, Ontario on the same run is already sold out.

Venue & Logistics

Brockville Arts Centre is a 700-seat theater at 235 King Street West in Brockville, Ontario — across the St. Lawrence from the New York north country. The venue is a proper sit-down room, which suits a performer whose method depends on reading the crowd and improvising in real time; that kind of interaction needs an audience that isn’t scattered across a bar. The show is all ages. Doors open at 7:00 p.m., with the performance running 7:30–9:30 p.m. EDT.

Tickets

Tickets are $42.00 CAD on Showpass; the Brockville Arts Centre website lists the show at $35.00 CAD, which likely reflects the price before service fees. All sales are final; no refunds or exchanges. Complimentary tickets are available for support workers at the Brockville Arts Centre box office on a first-come, first-served basis. Get Tickets
