Dark Sarcasm: a Pink Floyd Tribute at Frog Alley Brewing | May 22, 2026
Frog Alley Brewing has quietly built one of the better live music calendars in downtown Schenectady, and a Friday night with Albany’s definitive Pink Floyd tribute is exactly the kind of show worth rearranging your weekend for.
About Dark Sarcasm
Dark Sarcasm is a seven-piece outfit that earns every bit of the “sonic time machine” label. Musical director and guitarist Bob Bivona leads a lineup that includes Zach Nightingale on lead vocals and bass, Michael Youngs on rhythm guitar, Richie Stigberg on drums, Rodney Helsens on keyboards, and Jill Tolstrup and Jodi Madden on backing vocals.
They pull from Pink Floyd’s deepest catalog — The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall — and pair meticulous musicianship with immersive lighting and visuals. Fans who have seen them more than once will tell you the shows keep getting better. One put it plainly: “These guys are the real deal, and I’m VERY picky when it comes to Pink Floyd.”
The Venue
Frog Alley Brewing sits at 108 State Street in the heart of downtown Schenectady, walkable and central with street parking and garages nearby. The venue has been booking serious acts — tribute bands, regional touring artists, and nationally known names — and the crowd that shows up knows what they came for. Doors open at 8:30 PM with the set running through 11:30 PM. Get there early.
