About Emily Ann Roberts
If her name rings a bell from a decade ago, that’s The Voice — she was runner-up on Season 9 in 2015, on Blake Shelton’s team, at 16 years old. What she did after is the interesting part: she didn’t chase the pop-country sound the industry was pushing at the time. She went back to the traditional country and bluegrass she grew up with in East Tennessee, stayed patient, and let it build. Debut album Can’t Hide Country dropped in 2023 — deluxe edition in 2024, featuring a collaboration with Vince Gill and Ricky Skaggs on “Still Searching.” Her 2025 album Memory Lane continued in the same honest, roots-forward direction. Frog Alley is right on State Street in downtown Schenectady — a working brewery with a music calendar that consistently outperforms expectations. At 500 capacity, the room is intimate enough that there isn’t a bad spot. All ages show; guests under 21 must be accompanied by an adult. Valid photo ID is required for all attendees. Leave the big bag at the hotel: no backpacks or large bags, no outside food or beverages, no re-entry once you’re in.
