About the Show
The production comes from Rocklands Entertainment, the Peterborough, Ontario-based touring company behind “Oh What A Night” and “Four By Four.” Those earlier shows covered this golden era of pop in separate productions; FLASHBACK pulls them into a single evening. The 2026 tour arrives back in Canada by popular demand after a run in Las Vegas, carrying the same format: non-stop hits, choreography, and performer banter the production describes as designed to create an intimate connection with the audience rather than the arm’s-length presentation a lot of tribute shows default to.
The production team of writer George Soloman, director Michael Chapman, and choreographer Paul Holmquist built the predecessor shows on a combination of recognizable songs and direct crowd engagement. Those predecessors showcased over fifty titles from these catalogs, including “Stayin’ Alive,” “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” “Surfin’ USA,” “Sherry,” and “Stop! In the Name of Love,” and FLASHBACK builds on the same foundation. Rocklands Entertainment has been organizing concert tours across Canada since 1980, booking shows for performers they describe as having achieved “legendary status.” The 2026 tour runs multiple Canadian stops, with Kingston opening on October 5, followed by Lindsay on October 7 and Fredericton on October 11.

FLASHBACK plays the Rosen Auditorium specifically, a 776-seat room that suits this kind of touring production: large enough to carry the energy of five catalogs at once, close enough that the choreography reads from every row and the banter between songs does what it’s supposed to.
