LSDREAM makes music that is aggressively hard to describe at a party — “psychedelic bass” doesn’t quite cover it, “future bass” is too clean, and “dubstep” undersells the ambient drift. What LA-based producer Sami Diament actually does is build emotional architecture out of wobbling low-end and vocals that feel, per his own bio, “half-human and half-cosmic, as if the singer is broadcasting from another dimension.” The Bee Here Now Tour lands at Buffalo RiverWorks in western New York on Friday, March 19.
About the Show
Diament launched LSDREAM in March 2018 as a deliberate departure from his earlier alias Brillz (where he worked in trap and bass music), pushing toward something more spiritually charged and emotionally honest. Growing up in LA, he absorbed West Coast hip-hop, punk, rock, and underground rave culture, and all of it shows up somewhere in his production. His debut album VOYAGER came out on Liquid Stranger’s WAKAAN label that same year. He has been building outward ever since: Renegades of Light (2019), Peace, Love & Wubz (2021), Heartwave (2023, featuring collaborations with Joey Valence & Brae on “RAD” and Elephant Heart on “Operate”), and a 2024 pivot into LSZEE, a self-titled collaborative project with CloZee. That range — heavy drops to ambient drift to pop hooks on tracks like “SPACESHIP” and “Follow the Vibe” — paired with immersive live visuals, has put him on stages at Coachella, Electric Forest, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The Bee Here Now Tour spans March through April 2027 across North America, hitting Brooklyn Paramount, Stage AE Pittsburgh, and Hollywood Palladium among others. The Buffalo date brings three special guests: Sippy, Vincent Antone, and Moceans.
