Buffalo RiverWorks sits right on the water on Ganson Street, and if you have been out there in November you already know: dress in layers and give yourself time to find your spot. The venue runs 3,000-capacity and leans multi-use — which, for a pop-punk show on a Friday night in Western New York, means arriving early, getting your bearings, and settling in before the lights drop.

State Champs are bringing their Around the World and Back — 10th Anniversary Tour to Buffalo RiverWorks on Friday, November 6, 2026 at 7:00 PM. This is the Albany-born pop-punk four-piece celebrating a decade since the album that made them — and if you were a teenager running between Warped Tour stages in 2015, you already know every word.

About State Champs

Albany’s State Champs formed in 2010 and built their following the only way that sticks — relentless touring, from bedrooms and basements up to stages alongside Fall Out Boy and 5 Seconds of Summer. Around the World and Back was their second album and their breakthrough: it reached No. 30 on the Billboard 200 and No. 3 on Billboard’s Current Rock Albums chart, and earned them the Best Breakthrough Band win at the Alternative Press Music Awards in 2016.

The band — Derek DiScanio (vocals), Ryan Scott Graham (bass), Tyler Szalkowski (guitar), and Evan Ambrosio (drums) — has kept releasing since, including their 2024 self-titled fifth album. But this tour is a homecoming to the record that built everything. Expect Around the World and Back played front-to-back, plus cuts from across the catalog.

Support comes from Georgia pop-punk veterans Cartel — whose 2005 debut Chroma produced the Gold-certified single “Honestly” — and Taylor Acorn.
