Memphis May Fire at Empire Live | July 11, 2026
Empire Live is the kind of room that rewards showing up early — 1,000 capacity, standing room, right in the heart of downtown Albany’s North Pearl Street entertainment corridor. When Memphis May Fire comes through on a Saturday night in July with three support acts and VIP packages on the table, early arrival goes from suggestion to strategy.
About Memphis May Fire
Formed in Denton, Texas in 2006 and now based in Nashville, Memphis May Fire has spent nearly two decades earning their place as one of metalcore’s most consistent headliners. Vocalist Matty Mullins, guitarist and producer Kellen McGregor, bassist Cory Elder, and drummer Jake Garland are a tight unit — and the road time shows.
They’re touring behind Shapeshifter, their eighth studio album on Rise Records, released March 28, 2025. Produced by McGregor, the 10-track record follows 2022’s Remade in Misery and was previewed with the title single back in November 2024. The Albany date is part of a 10-date summer headline run crossing eight states.
Support comes from Caskets, If Not For Me, and Royale Lynn — a full three-act opening bill that turns this into a full evening, not just a headliner set.
About Empire Live
Empire Live sits at 93 N. Pearl Street with 1,000-capacity standing room, a modern stage, solid sound, and two hospitality stations on the upper floor. The building also runs Empire Underground in the basement — a 350-capacity room for more intimate shows. For a metalcore night with three support acts on the bill, plan to be inside and positioned before the first opener hits the stage.
Parking in downtown Albany on a Saturday night: the venue is right in the middle of the North Pearl Street action, so settle on your lot before you arrive rather than circling at showtime.
