Machine Gun Kelly brings the Lost Americana Tour to Darien Lake Amphitheater on Saturday, June 13, with Wiz Khalifa and De’Wayne supporting — a stop through the middle of a 29-date North American amphitheater run that closes out what has been MGK’s most expansive global campaign to date. Show time is 7:00 PM.
About MGK
Born Colson Baker in Houston in 1990, Machine Gun Kelly spent years building a reputation in Cleveland’s rap scene before a genre pivot that few saw coming and fewer would have predicted holding. His 2020 album Tickets to My Downfall reached number one and positioned him as the unlikely face of a pop-punk revival that the music press couldn’t decide whether to celebrate or condescend to; the follow-up Mainstream Sellout extended that run, capped by a stadium show in his Cleveland hometown that the industry took as a serious scalp, not just a promotional milestone.
Lost Americana, his seventh studio album, released August 8, 2025, represents something more deliberate than either of those records. Described in official notes as “a personal excavation of the American dream” — a love letter, per the album text, to “the dreamers, the drifters, the defiant” — the record’s 13 tracks move through pop-rock, southern rock, and hip-hop without fully committing to any single lane. Whether that range reads as artistic maturity or creative restlessness probably depends on where you stood on MGK before you pressed play. Grammy-nominated and with more than 20.6 billion streams across his catalog, he has earned the latitude to make a sprawling record about American identity. Whether Lost Americana translates to the outdoor amphitheater setting is the more interesting question heading into Darien Lake.
The Lost Americana Tour launched in November 2025 in Orlando and has since covered North American arenas, European venues from Bologna to London’s The O2, and a run through Australia and New Zealand — a campaign the artist’s own camp describes as his biggest global headline run yet. The North American amphitheater leg, produced by Live Nation, runs through July 1, 2026. Wiz Khalifa appears on select dates; for the Darien Lake stop, De’Wayne joins the bill as direct support.
