Caffè Lena is a 110-seat folk club on Phila Street in Saratoga Springs, and if you have not made the drive up for a show there yet, this Sunday is a good reason to start.
Shawn Mullins plays the room on July 19. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the show runs through 9:00 PM.
About Shawn Mullins
Mullins built his name through the Atlanta music scene before his 1998 album Soul’s Core put him in front of a much wider audience. “Lullaby” — the Grammy-nominated No. 1 hit off that record — is the song most people know first, but his catalog runs deep across folk, rock, and Americana. “Beautiful Wreck” topped AAA and Americana charts; “Shimmer” turned up in the 2000 Sydney Olympics campaign and the Dawson’s Creek soundtrack; “All in My Head” landed in Scrubs. He co-wrote the Zac Brown Band’s “Toes” and co-founded the supergroup The Thorns with Matthew Sweet and Pete Droge. In a 110-seat listening room, that catalog is going to hit differently than it does anywhere else.
Special Guest: Cat Ridgeway
Ridgeway is an Orlando-based singer-songwriter who describes her own sound as “indie rock for overthinkers.” Her 2025 album Sprinter blends rock, folk, and alternative, with contributions from musicians connected to Ween and Sylvan Esso. A self-taught multi-instrumentalist — guitar, trumpet, mandolin, drums, and more — she has shared stages with Amanda Shires, Hozier, Houndmouth, and Arcade Fire, and has earned three consecutive Best Singer-Songwriter honors from Orlando Weekly. Arrive by 6:30 and catch her full set.
