Super 70’s Rock Show at Penn’s Peak | February 6, 2027

By Marc Delacroix · September 9, 2026

The musicians behind the Super 70’s Rock Show did not arrive at the tribute format by default. Band members have toured professionally alongside Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, and Eddie Money — a pedigree that places Super Trans AM, the five-piece at the center of the concept, well outside the territory of the average bar-circuit cover act. What they bring to Penn’s Peak on Saturday, February 6 is an evening-length immersion into 1970s arena rock built for a proper room: costume changes, state-of-the-art A/V production, and a vocal approach where every member steps up to lead.

About the Show

Super Trans AM covers the full span of ’70s arena rock: the Eagles, Queen, Hall & Oates, Boston, Journey, Foreigner, Kiss, The Doobie Brothers, Paul McCartney & Wings, and Peter Frampton at the core, with the yacht-rock wing of the decade (Orleans, Pilot) in the mix as well. The multi-vocalist structure is one of the show’s defining features: every member of the five-piece takes lead duties throughout the set, a format that mirrors how the source material actually worked. The Doobies passed the mic across their lineup for a decade; the Eagles built their sound around layered vocal arrangements. Super Trans AM treats that architecture as part of the job.

The band has been active across the Northeast corridor with a busy 2026 touring schedule, including appearances at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park and the Paramount Hudson Valley in Peekskill, where they played a July 2025 date. Shore Beat’s Davey Duffle reviewed a prior engagement: “Perfectly recreating the arena anthems of the seventies, with great vocals and harmonies while adding a touch of nostalgia, this band is a lot of fun.” The show incorporates 70s-era video into the staging alongside the costume changes, making it a full-production affair rather than a straight setlist. A replica 1978 Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am appears at select dates for photographs — a prop that announces the evening’s intentions clearly enough.

Venue & Logistics

Penn’s Peak is a 1,800-capacity concert room in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, set in the Pocono Mountains and drawing audiences from across the Hudson Valley and the broader region. February in the Poconos is a genuine commitment, but there is a specific kind of mid-winter logic to a full room of people who have known every word of this catalog since the Carter administration. Show time is 8:00 p.m.
